Applications | Under development

Where a printed hemp-mineral envelope could go first.

These are the application areas CircularBuild is developing toward. Suitability for any specific building type depends on testing, engineering design and applicable certification.

01

Low-rise housing

Automated wall-envelope systems printed on site alongside an engineered load-bearing structure.
02

Modular buildings

Factory or controlled-environment additive manufacturing, where conditions and curing can be managed precisely.
03

Infill walls

Non-load-bearing printed walls within timber, steel or concrete structural frames.
04

Insulating wall systems

Bio-based lightweight enclosure systems focused on thermal and moisture performance.
05

Demonstration architecture

Complex low-carbon geometries for pilot projects, pavilions and research structures.
CircularBuild does not claim suitability for any application until the relevant testing and certification is completed.

Sequencing

Envelope first. Structure engineered separately.

The lowest-risk first applications are the ones where the printed hemp-mineral system handles enclosure, insulation and moisture regulation while a conventional engineered system carries load. That keeps the regulatory pathway tractable while the material is qualified.
